Really intriguing mystery story here--I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes! I like the black and white art; it has an old-school expressionist kind of feel that communicates a lot of atmosphere. I liked the music as well. At this stage there are a lot of problems--text errors like this, items not appearing in inventory, empty pop-ups when you click an empty inventory slot, sprite layering order problems, translation issues, etc--but I know this is your first game and I hope you'll keep at it and bring it to a more polished state.

Needs polishing, but a promising start! I hope you include a tutorial/instructions on controls, so it's easier to enjoy the game. I really liked the art style for the sprites!
