Wasn't planning on adding anything significant, but I have a few quality of life features I wanted to add to my finished game. Do I need to mark a build as "before the deadline", for voting?

If you upload before deadline you can override it. After deadline uploads are locked as long as rating is ongoing. After rating period you can update however you like.
