The presentation is top notch here, I was immediately taken with the UI and transitions - best transitions I've seen so far.

Your own description says it though, friends, enemies and interactivity are yet to be added. When they are the fun will really start!

I know the gameplay is a bit different but this takes me back to Golden Axe with the barbarians who are 80% hair and sword. Nice!

I loved the graphics and the background music, but there's not much to do except for admiring the stunning visuals (I guess you got into some time troubles?). However, I see lots of potential for a full post-jam game.

I was so impressed with the aesthetics even down to the menu and i was like wow how can you manage to create something so visually stunning in such a short time and make any gameplay to go along with it... and then i reached the cliff :'). Looking forward to what you do with this in the future!

The game looks really good, I loved all aspects of the presentation and specially those sweeeeet transition effects between scenes. Pity that there's really nothing to do, next time you should focus on the game loop before putting so much effort into the presentation! Still, you have a nice skeleton for a game here, hope you keep working on it!

Hey, thanks for the feedback!

I did indeed spend way too much time on the visuals, I was having fun figuring out ways to use spritesheets and tilemaps and parallax stuff. I had a few more things like NPCs and double the map size, but sadly didn't make the deadline and it wasn't finished anyways. Still I had a lot of fun! I'll definitely make a second project page and continue to update this! Thanks again for leaving a comment :D
