Cool game! I loved the aesthetic and the story. The sound design really added to the tension. I really liked the environments; they all clearly depicted what they were supposed to well and were well decorated. Great job! :D

I loved the concept and the FOV,  it made you feel claustrophobic (I hope I wrote that correctly). Although there weren't that many sound effects I understand, it's really hard to do them at least from my experience. I hope you had fun making your first game for a jam. I've made projects and games before, but this was my first gamejam, and even though I have previous experience it was difficult o manage time. You did a great job keep up the good work and keep up improving!

Thank you so much for playing and for your kind words! We're glad the claustrophobic feel came through. Due to limited time, we couldn't do everything as we wanted, and sound was one of those challenges. It's awesome that this was your first game jam too! Time management is tricky, but we both managed to get through it. Thanks for the encouragement, and we'll keep working to improve!

The burger was inside us all along! Great collab and foray into the wonderful world of 3D horror. I liked the narrative setup of the game and how you built the scene from a mundane and ordinary one to a very unusual and unsettling one. The environmental design of the parking lot, with its twists and turns, did make it an easy and non-stereotypical setting to explore this idea. I think the other comment does a great job of encouraging thinking about the flow of scripting actions in scene and really crafting a smooth and expected path of actions for how the player is expected to enter the kitchen and then the freezer. What leads them in there to the disturbing climax?

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback! We're really glad that you enjoyed the narrative and found the progression from the ordinary to the unsettling engaging. Crafting an environment that feels both familiar and eerie was a big focus for us, so it’s great to hear that the parking lot design worked well for you. We appreciate your insights on the flow of actions in the scene too. Ensuring that players naturally make their way to the kitchen and freezer without feeling forced is something we're continuing to refine. Your comments definitely help us think about how we can better guide the player through the experience to that disturbing climax. Thanks again for playing and sharing your thoughts! :)

First of all, congrats on making your first gamejam! That's always a great accomplishment!

I liked the vibes, kinda feels Puppet Combo inspired with the visual style and story.

I did have a hard time figuring out how to complete certain parts of the game tho. When Hannah goes off to the dumpster, I would've appreciated some environmental hint as to where to go (A lamp post in the middle of a dark lit area or something). And as much as I can appreciate the hard work put to build such a large scene, the rest of the buildings didn't doo much for me but get me lost.

Also, I get that the flashlight battery is good for building tension, but I didn't see the point to having it as a resource if I couldn't replenish it somehow. While looking for Hannah I ran out of battery and it made the rest of the experience a bit frustating for me.

But other than that, really great effort!

Thank you so much for playing our game and for your thoughtful feedback! It was an exciting experience making our first horror jam game. We're glad you liked the vibes and visual style! We appreciate your feedback on navigating the scene with Hana. We tried to hint at where to go through the dialogue with Hannah and the direction she was walking, but we see how additional environmental cues like a lamp post would have made it clearer. You're right, the scene was larger than necessary, and we agree it could benefit from more elements to guide the player better. This is definitely something we’ll improve on in the future. Thanks for pointing it out, and for your understanding of the work that went into the scene!

Initially, we added the battery as a way to build tension, but we didn't end up implementing a way to replenish it. We kept it that way, but in hindsight, adding features like battery pickups would definitely enhance the experience and reduce frustration. It's something we'll keep in mind for future updates. We really appreciate your feedback, and we're glad you still enjoyed the effort we put into the game!
