Cool premise, what with being the witness and all. The movement feels really fast for being indoors. The voice acting was nice but very quiet compared to everything else.

I'm kind of confused as to what my goal was. I tried interacting with many different things, with and without taking the green pills but I'd eventually teleport back to my room anyway. Or if I press on the front door I would, I guess, get killed.

The cake was delicious by the way.

PS

Kinda unrelated to gameplay and whatnot, but with the volume slider, there's a formula you can use to make it linear. Otherwise, you have to the volume seems to barely change as you lower the control. Here 0% to maybe 10% had to most significant percetpable difference in audio. I forgot the exact formula you apply to the decibels but I'm sure it's not too hard to look up. Just something neat I learned a while ago.

PS PS

You can mark your download file as being on the windows platform. This allows people using the Itch client to install your game much more easily install your game. If you don't Itch simply gives them errors when trying to download your game through the client and forces people to do it via the normal website followed by unzipping and such.
