Hey thanks for playing and making a video! I'm still working on this game regardless of the outcome of the game jam and have already added quite a bit. Got a lot of helpful feedback too and keep in mind that this demo was really just to show off the overall feel of the story and basic mechanics/plugins. I played a lot of classic final fantasy games to get some inspiration!

Nice graphics, okay introduction. Felt the intro was a bit wordy because of the text timing. Also made the rain feel extra slow.

Nice that my name \V[1] works and I can see how many battles I've fought by talking to people that say my name.  \V[2] also hold something, but couldn't tell what because the game renames character 2 shortly after.

There was already a save when I started the game?

Character 2 looks really weird with that portrait when he talks. It is a bit distracting and immersion breaking really when you have two different styles in the game.

Minor passability glitch in town with the grass on a mountain.

Very short game. I ended up finishing in about 16 minutes and I actually was exploring things.

Beautiful graphics, a great introduction to the plot of the story.  Beautiful icons usage ad mapping. Just felt that there wasn't enough story to grasp. wish was longer and had a visual representation of the theme.

Thanks for the post and playing the demo! I wish I had more time to add more too, but I figured that was a good stopping point for the demo. I was really working on the battle system and still haven't gotten it feeling just right. Didn't think I would make it in time to show it off, so I cut it short rather than have a broken ending. I'm still going to finish the game regardless of the outcome of the game jam as well!
