The theme is definitely there: starting without money, experience or party members. I really like the "vibe" and emotions that this game might make you feel, but after all this time that the engine was out, this kind of gameplay is very... basic, and boring. Fighting enemies with the default battle system for a lot of battles gets tiring in the long run.
I really like that each floor is very different from the other (ok, I've only seen two, but still-), but the complexity spike felt very steep: the first floor was simple, and the second one is already a very big maze. I stopped playing since I was getting too many random encounters that it didn't felt fun anymore. Very unfortunate.

If you're curious though, I streamed the game. Here's the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2482223882

Loved it but the sudden difficulty jump on Lamia boss i crazy tough. Feel like I would be able to do something if I were able to hire more party members or level up skills but im stuck in the dungeon with no way out due to game overs. Am I just missing something because I keep getting sleep/confusion stunned to death?

First, this is a demo for the full release that is in the works. The game will need some grinding, but I am planning on making some changes to allow recruiting members to be a little less pricey, but would still require the player to grind to buy better equipment, items and recruitment.

Thank you for trying it!
