Title
Stuck in a Jaze

Description
This is my exploration into what is jazz. Wacky rhythms, diatonic notes, and fast piano sections, I tried them all! As always, made with Musescore. (And I don't know what you mean with song structure)

I like to save your composition for last!

I listened as usual with great attention. It sounds like Mario Kart music on SNES. It's cheerful, rhythmic, easy to listen to despite the complexity of the composition.

On the other hand, like Mario Kart music, it sounds Latin. The Latin chords are rich too, but the syncopated feel with lots of dotted quarter notes gives it a Latin music feel rather than a jazz feel.

Otherwise, the music is great fun to listen to, as always. With rhythmic surprises and well-chosen sounds. It's a pleasure to see you again on these jams!

I am always glad to see someone dissect my music - it gives me additional insights. After all, I often have little clue what I am doing, especially for something like jazz! I will look into Latin music for sure, I am really interested to see what you mean :D

Oh, and thanks... I am glad that, even with your newfound popularity, you still care to comment on my entries. I appreciate it!

pretty nice piece! although imo it doesn't feel a lot like jazz :0

That's a fair point. I have no clue how to make jazz!

Sounds like a drop in theme for an "island" platformer, nice tune, good energy.

Thanks :)

the transitions from piano to marimba were great! I especially liked the beginning with the brass. the second time the do ascending notes reminds me of a specific paper mario song that I can't remember.

Thanks a lot! Glad you like it :D

I loved the happiness in the melodies toward the end starting at 1:20! Sounded like a mix of classical and jazz to me.

Thanks a lot! That's also my favorite part. Marimba's are just something special :D
