Widescreen Adaptation.

Considering the jam rules allow for resolutions to be adapted to 16:9, i’ve made the consideration that for example, the Gameboy could be adapted to a 256x144 resolution.

How will this be used? All gameplay has to be in a 160x144 or it can be in the space the 96 pixels of extra width provide? What is the maximum screensize a game can use?

It’s probably already explained in the rules, but I want to be sure.

Hey!

You can use any resolution you'd like, but to make it still feel as much like the system you're simulating, it's best to adapt whatever the original resolution was to 16:9, so 256x144 is perfect for gameboy. I always use 400x225 for things staying around NES/SNES, etc
