you think you can hear the pulse of the world down here. animals chitter from far off. everything echoes, and you can see yourself reflected in the pools of water that form on the uneven ground.

far enough from the surface, the voice in your head that whispers to turn back has become muffled, then silent. you can see pretty far off in these caves. it's not claustrophobic, not at all. it's spacious, quiet, contemplative.
