🐍 THEME: [ WEIRD WEST ] 🕸️
you sift through the photographs left in you grandmother's room as the reverse shadow of the square window twists in front of you. you turn and shield your eyes, blasted by green light. having found what you were looking for, you dash down the creaky stairs back to the saloon and stumble through the swinging doors.
the sunset rises green over the creeping, moaning buildings that form the ghost town's skyline. the tension in the thick air is punctuated by the flap of webbed wings and the twang of a banjo.
you wipe beads of sweat off your brow as two black bars appear — one above your eyes, one below.
