  • I kind liked the idea of your game, I just had trouble having fun with it, maybe if the drawing were a little less complex the game would be a little more fund. Music and arts are fine though, also the implementation seems to work perfectly.

Which parts of the game did YOU create BEFORE the jam STARTED?
Nothing

Which parts of the game did you NOT create?
My teammate wrote the music within the jam time.

How was your jamming experience? Did you enjoy the theme? Were you able to produce more or less than you expected?
I am very happy. I have now participated in a few jams and this was my best so far in terms of scoping an ambitious but attainable project and completing it without major stress. Most importantly, I learned something totally new (basic vector graphics). I liked the theme because committing to a black and white colour scheme forced me to be creative about button design, etc. I am a little bummed that I didn't have a more unique take on the theme but, getting meta, thinking about black and white in black and white makes sense. I loved that it was a puzzle jam since puzzles games are my favourite genre. Thanks for hosting and happy birthday!

Really cool idea. I clicked out of the window and when I returned I just kept getting an error. But it was fixed by returning to the menu and reentering the game. I like the bonus that pops up for getting what I assume was really close. I think that could have been made more apparent to let the player know they are on the right path. I enjoyed it, great work.

A super neat and original idea, and the music feels fitting if a bit irritating after a long time. I love that you implemented custom levels, and that you included a cheat mode (though I got an "index out of bounds error" when cheating).

The game does get tedious after a bit, so I feel like this would be best as part of a broader puzzle game, maybe an Escape the Room type game.

One UI suggestion: Place a dot on the screen where the player clicks the first time, so they know the game has registered that click.
