Maybe I should've mentioned the analog stick should work so you don't have to smash the d-pad 😅

Useful information, I was smashing my d-pad hahaha

Amazing asthetic but a not so easy gameplay. Would you share the source code? (Not for the gameplay 🤣)

Not sure if you were serious about your request but I've uploaded it either way, thank you for the comment

I liked the concept a lot, but the game becomes really hard when you are fixing the code issues. Also would be good to have the input to exit the game.

Cool concept, but it's brutal on your thumbs! Like nroach44 suggested, adding some key repeat would have made this much more approachable. Also, I think the instructions at the top of the screen should be worded differently so that it's more obvious what you have to do. For example, maybe say "Press L/R to change character" since "<-- DEC. CHAR    INC. CHAR -->" is a bit vague.

But besides that, it was actually pretty fun trying to chase down the misbehaving chars. Nice entry!

I wish I could earn $1000/minute fixing typos :P

Thank you, this was my 3rd attempt at an entry with only a few hours left so it's a bit of a rushed one :p I figured most players would be participants and programmers so chose for that wording at the top but get what you mean.
FWIW the analog stick should work to spare your thumbs 😅

This was quite creative, only minor nits is the lack of key repeat and not quite knowing what to do at the start!

Very fun!
