Welp, this is kind of a nightmare for someone colorblind.

I liked the song and the idea, wish the shooting felt a bit more powerful though.

Took me a while to understand what the right click actually did, at the end I prefered to simply waste the bullets that wouldn't be useful. My first playthrough was in some walled area that I could shoot the balls out of bounds, the second one was in a closed room that made it easier to shoot, but, there were 2 enemies and one of them would get pitch black depending on its position regarding the light.

I can see the potential here and with some more movement and juice it could be kinda fun, however I wish there was another way to match the bullets to the enemies as these current colors can get a bit frustrating.

cool thanks for the feedback, how do other games deal with color blind?

Hey! Nice game, I see that it has big potential. Few of my thoughts:

1) It is really hard to match the colors. Especially yellow and orange.

2) I am not sure that random color selection is a good choice here - I spent half my time standing in the corner and shooting floor just to get the right color. It seems that it would be better if I can select needed color and if there will be something (some new enemy) that won't let me just stand on one place. This way I will have to move all the time, trying not to die and match the right colors.

3) I managed to shoot out the balls out of bounds. Just fyi.

Thanks for the encouragement,
1.clairty and visible definitely need to be strengthened

2. I was going for the tetris random blocks idea, so random bullets , but it might be too annoying I think tetris limited the randomness if future tetris, i.e original tetris it was possible not to get a line for like 20 blocks

3. yeah I think other people update their page with known bugs I guess I should do that too

Nice idea. I liked the combo system. Funny name acronym too!

It was a really fun game. I would add as some other comments that you add something for the player to dodge. Otherwise there is no challenge. Keep it up it is a really fun idea!

thanks , the brown things lower your time when you get hit but yes , needs more enemies and enemy types

I really had a lot fun with this!

And I'm really proud of my score!!

I have quite a bit of feedback and I hope you take this the right way, I really think this could be a cool, fast-paced FPS shooter with a bit of polish.

Feedback wise, the red colour on the gun, because it's so shiny it looks orange... and is VERY similar to the yellow, I found that frustrating.

I also don't think the colours need to be random, I would have rather scrolled to the correct colour.

Or put the upcoming colours on the gun so I can see what is coming, rather than having to look at the bottom of the screen.

Or if you made the spawns more frequent or put more enemies on the screen at once you would be able to use the other colours more.

I also don't think the bullet drop is necessary, I didn't find it rewarding to guess the bullet drop I would rather my bullets just go straight.

Finally, I think you could make the player dodge something, either bullets/projectiles or things on the floor. I didn't feel much need to move otherwise.

Hope this all makes sense, feel free to reply if you want me to explain anything better.

I hope you keep developing this :)

Thanks appreciate the feedback, am currently doing one of my other jam games, might come back to this at some point

might make different characters that have different colour orders and abilities , as I think other people wanted standard order so a standard default character makes sense

The other changes are more bugs I think with unreal as emissive red is very orange looking and physics can be janky to tweak
