Great game! The visuals look good, but it's unclear what you can scan. The sound is good and the story is interesting. The horror feel is good

Great work on the mood! The lighting and audio combine really well to make you feel unsettled. Finding what items are scannable was a bit hard to guess at times, and going around scanning everything kind of gets you out of the mood (though the text blurbs were interesting to read).

Thanks for the great feedback!

Yes, I agree finding items to scan is a bit hard and this gets the player out of the mood. Soon we will work to better fit this mechanic, so that this does not happen!

Anyway, your feedback was nice, helped us a lot, thank you!

Phew, that atmosphere was on point... Really creepy vibes. I unfortunately couldn't get past the second house though, I couldn't find the 6th area to scan, and I went over everything twice. I'd love to try it again with maybe some way of communicating the areas to scan a little better to the player! For the parts you wanted feedback on:

Horror feel: Excellent, the constant hum and feeling of isolation really put me on edge.

Sound Design: Again, really good and sold the horror vibe really well.

Storytelling: I would love to comment more on this, what was there so far definitely had me intrigued!

Visuals: The lighting was the highlight for me, but overall I thought the visuals were very polished for a game jam, especially a 3D one! Awesome work!

Let me know if you update it or clarify how to continue, I'd love to boot it up and try get further into the game.

Oh, damn it! Just because this story has a plot twist at the end, you didn't get there!

Jokes aside, thanks for your feedback, really this mechanic of exploring items around the house is still not completely clear and concise, maybe you forgot to scan the door, the potted plant in the bathroom or the bathtub!

Anyway, thank you very much for the feedback, it was very useful for us, we will always seek to improve!

I tried it again and found out that I had completely missed the kitchen the first time!! I thought the doorway was a window...😅

Anyway, that was a fantastic end! I won't spoil it in the comments, but genuinely gave me goosebumps, and once again the lighting and atmosphere was top notch. Great work and concept, would love to see more of it if you ever decide to build upon it!

Umm... I'd have hoped to avoid opening with a negative, but...

That camera bobbing is making me feel way too nauseous. It is immersion-breaking. I can't feel scared or unsettled because all I'm thinking about is how dizzy I am.

I am sure there's probably a nice experience under all that, but I just couldn't manage to persevere through the dizziness enough to enjoy it.

Sorry, man...

Let me know if you update it, and I'll give it another go.

Hey, thank you for the feedback! I'm really glad about it!

I should have thought about it, I agree with you that there will be people who are not going to feel good about it. Sorry anything, we will improve this for sure!
