What did you update?
Made the intro skippable and tried various things to make the out-of-control thing a bit easier to see (including adding a message to the title screen suggesting there actually is something to find and adding a "security log" to the background) and a bit easier to complete (and hopefully less frustrating if you don't know what's going on).

What you would like feedback on (Optional)
Are people actually able to figure out what's out of control? Was I too subtle about it still?

I don't even get the game. I get the 1 bit thing, but I think you're "plot" is waaaay too computer sciencey for the average person to understand. I have no idea what was "out of control".

The combat is insanely frustrating. I had that you have to run up to enemies who are just simply faster than you and will disappear when backed into a corner. Maybe I was actually killing them? IDK.

In a "room" based dungeon game like this, it's sort of expected that when you enter a room, the enemies in that room are the only ones there, but I think enemies were spawning the whole time? I'm not sure if it's that, or if enemies I thought I killed where actually reappearing after disappearing?

On a fundamental level, you're not doing enough with the game to signal to the player what's ACTUALLY HAPPENING. Did I kill a bad guy? Did it teleport away? Did I get a damage boost, and what is it for? Did that laser just hit me, or not? I can't tell what's going on at all.

I know this is a harsh review, but I wanted to give my honest feedback. I'm not sure how to salvage this one, but it's a really confusing game as it stands.

This kind of confirms my suspicion that maybe I should have gone with a different idea of mine.  (Or, now that I think about it, maybe my idea would have worked better with a different genre, one where the computer normally decides when a battle or whatever is over rather than one allows free movement… (…wonder if I could tweak this game so that that works better… now thinking of ideas for some more major modifications…)).

Exiting and re-entering a room completely resets the enemies in the room.  I didn't realize that particular aspect would be confusing.

Okay, I've made some changes including a lot more text and changing how enemy encounters work.  Maybe this will make things better and more clear?
