Interesting game idea! The art and music was also really cool - I liked that the different radios(?) played different music. However, it was really "laggy" and got real low FPS often.

I think some power-ups could make the gameplay more engaging, but it's a pretty fun and adictive game. Good job!

Game was fun but beating up the enemies was too easy :)

Host

I really like the cafe food enemies, the possession mechanic, the idea of an infinite Hell cafe and using Espresso as a status effect. Very cool all around :)

This was pretty darn cool. Loved the music fading in and out and all the sprites. The concept of having allied croissants and muffins and such  is brilliant. I really enjoyed playing felt well rounded. With more storyline/ narrative I feel like it could definitely be like a weird cafe hotline miami - I mean that with the highest compliments.

Great game with cool mechanics like the turn enemies into allies. I liked the theme of the cafe and the foods attacking :P

This is cute! I love your little sprite animations too- impressive work in 9 days! The only real issue I think I had was that I was a little bit unsure of the goal/ backstory/ narrative of this game (I initially missed the description, so maybe a little intro/ tutorial window at the start would help silly ADHD brains like myself) but I still love it!

Developer

Thank you, I wanted to include a backstory and a little tutorial room before spawning into the game but i ended up having plans on the last 2 days of the jam and didn’t have time to include it - definitely will think of adding that for any games I make next though.

Since when can donuts throw you into the orbit?

that took me a second to realize I could possess the enemiues but when I got the hang of it I really loved the mechanic. great job.

Cute art, loved ressurecting enemies to use them against each other

not sure what the overall goal was - I assume survival for as long as possible

my 'revived' allies seemed to be invincible and enemies got stuck on them

nice entry :)

Developer(+1)

You guessed right, the goal was in fact to survive as long as you can.

As for the allies and enemies let’s just say I might not have fine tuned and tested the parameters for their movement and attacks enough and they ended up behaving a bit weirdly. Didn’t really prioritise fixing that as I had limited time and it was somewhat still playable but I was aware of it.

Like the concept and interpretation, it can get overwhelming at times but still, very captivating!
