- Hey! This is a really interesting idea you went for. Having the sentient weapon jump wielders is an interesting way to implement repeatable gameplay. The game was generally playable, though things did get a little confusing when all the characters would pile up and collide. I wasn't able to really move when that happened. I do like the art and graphics. They give the game a bit of a "historical/fantastical" feel. The music also does well to hype up the action aspect. You did a good job on the overall design! My main advice would just be to polish up some of the interactions between characters to offer a smoother gameplay experience, and maybe add some more variety to the warrior designs so that it's easier to differentiate between characters instead of just looking at the weapon. Overall, it's a great concept and a good submission. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with this. Good job!

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes
Summarise your game!
You are a sentient sword and people are your weapons! Help your champion survive the arena... and if he dies, the last survivor becomes your new weapon!
Controls:
W/A/S/D - movement
Left click - attack
Space - dash (unlocked at round 2)
Right click - strong attack(unlocked at round 3)
Q - wery strong attack(unlocked at round 4)
Esc - pause
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Main character is a sentient sword controlling the person wielding it. From its perspective, its wielder is a weapon: in case of wielders death it will just use the killer as the next weapon.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Any feedback would be great.

The game has nice graphics and I think the idea can go further, but i think the starting difficulty was very high as your opponents all rush you at the same time. It would be really good if they took turns to attack and left you a small space to "escape" if you needed to.
Overall, very well done!
Nice game! I like that the weapon talks to the player and teaches new mechanics each round. I would suggest maybe having the player attack in the direction of the mouse cursor instead of just attacking in the direction the player is facing. I think that would feel a lot smoother. But this is still a fun game, great work!
very cool
My game froze :(
Did it froze mid-game or you can't start it at all?
Mid-game - I think a round finished (not sure if I won or lost) and then it froze
It might be a problem with running the game in browser, but restart should fix it either way. Sadly, i won't be able to change anything in time.
