- Art's nice, and hope this gets developed more, sad there was things cut but understandable. Sometimes it's good to sit down and sort out to ensure somethings make it in! Looks great and could use a little bit over movement adjustment as the movement was a little to slidey.

Unfinished side-scroller puzzle combat game. Metroidvania I guess. Player combines elements to create effects and cast attack potions like a true alchemist.
Extra Notes
The Shadow part of the theme was going to be incorporated mainly by the game's narrative, which I cut for time. There are still shadows in the game and you play as an alchemist, so I think I still win.
Very fun Jam! I wish I hadn't been so busy in the middle of it, I feel like I could've done so much more. That being said, two weeks is generous and I'm glad I found the time to make something! Learned a lot, had fun, thanks a ton!

Very nice demo project. I love the artwork already, it's too bad there's not much gameplay but I love how cleverly the theme of shadows and alchemy were used in the game. The potions have different abilities and I love using them. However one of the potions was related to the jumping mechanic so I couldn't jump until I had one potion of it for use. Once I ran out of the circle potion. I can't progress through the level so perhaps I'll try again later when I can. In the meantime though, I'm liking this little demo so far. Hope I can see more content to fully progress through the level, this is a very solid entry as of right now!
