  • I found the the game ran smoothly, and fun to play. The art style was good, The background music and sound effect fit the game very well. Love the flash light and monster movement. Awesome job on the game! I look forward to seeing what you create for the next Jam!
  • clever idea to go out and find materials. Ability to more easily move inventory around may be helpful. expand inventory and drop/store functions could help user stock up for more orders.

Nicely done! I really like tone of the game, especially the ghost house in the bottom.

For a bit of criticism, I would really hope the pacing could be a bit quicker. The world is a bit smaller, the player can run, cooking a bit quicker, etc.  Also upgrading the inventory would be nice too.

Well done!

Thanks for the comment and criticism!

I way over scoped and had almost no time to playtest and finetune before the deadline, and I think the pacing of the game took the hit the hardest haha, I've definitely learned my lesson for the future. Thanks for playing!

Very creative, I loved the look of the game, the sound design, and the mechanics. I admit I had a little trouble managing my inventory though.

Yeah my biggest gripe with the game right now is that I didn't polish up the main gameplay loop enough, sorry for the struggle haha.

Nice entry, it played very well thought it felt a bit grindy to get the ingredients with so little inventory space. Also was there no end?

The sprite work was cute, the audio was fitting and I liked the recipes getting more and more fuc*ed up, good work ! :)

Sadly when I programmed a basic end screen at 5am I forgot to actually add the trigger for it in before submitting lol. I agree that the game is grindy at the moment, I didn't leave enough time to polish that up :(

Thanks for playing!

Loved the spooky vibes and you can see the inspirations clearly!
Good move making the enemies ripple without flashlight contact, a nice touch to add the edge. As a fan Overcooked myself, I could see the potential with all the ingredients you ended up providing to really make chaotic customer requests.

Would love to see it fully fleshed out, even with the Jam done you should keep it going!

Thanks for the positive feedback!
Its my first time making anything with a spooky vibe so I was worried to get it somewhat right lol. I wish I could have implemented upon the cooking system more (and massively flesh out the poor poor kitchen) before the deadline, but I'm happy with how it overall turned out for the jam.

thanks for the comment :)
