- Fun game concept and good realization of it. A good take on the shadow theme while slightly vague and a clear take on the alchemy theme, even if it was quite literal. The drawing mechanic is challenging but fun and the Art style of the Splash art as well as the sound are good. The placeholder-ish Low poly graphics work great for the fairly simple style of the game. This game shows quite some promise.

Accrue wealth by tracing successful transmutation sigils, and watch as your cultists faithfully shadow your every move. However, you'll need to be careful. Your tomfoolery has summoned some gloomy fiends, and they're willing to do anything to get to your followers. This chaos may even bring down the whole cavern. Get out with as much gold as you can carry before the walls crumble in!

Nice work! I like the funny dialog and greedy, self-serving attitude of the main character. The tadpoles are cute, too. I thought the sigil tracing mechanic was inventive and fairly straight forward to use. The music and sfx, especially the croak, were nice touches. It did take me a while to realize that I needed to sit in the sigils with my tadpoles to complete the transmutation. Also, I couldn't figure out how to use the exit portal. Solid entry though!
Thanks so much! Clarity with the mechanics is definitely something that can be improved. Also, totally understand your confusion on the exit. That portal is actually for enemies. In order to leave, you have to exit out of the bottom of the map (where you start). I wanted to get some UI element in there to guide the player towards it, but I didn't end up having time for it. Those two pieces of feedback are super valuable though, and I definitely need to prioritize playtesting at every stage.
I can feel that a lot of effort went into this game, and the artstyle is cool
Really appreciate it! The game art is definitely born of limitations, but I am super pleased with how they came out.
Bangin' track. Also love that you recorded a long croak sound effect lmao
Thanks! And yes haha, the croak idea was absolutely an idea I had early on that quickly became one of my favorite things about the project.
