- The simple at style fits and the aesthetic pretty well! And the game is playable. A few things to note: I would like to see you delving more into the theme of Shadows and Alchemy, as currently the themes have been interpreted for what they are, I would like different potions maybe. The enemies are too fast, as well. It would be more challenging if the shadows were more and they were slower, threatening to surround you. All in all, well done! Keep making things!

2D 3/4 perspective action game, WASD to move, mouse to aim, left click to throw potion, space to dash. You're fighting increasingly harder waves of shadowy enemies using potions.

Very simple but kinda fun.
Please, please, fix the music loop.
Also, the player movement felt a bit slow.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! By the music loop, do you mean the fact that it restarts on each level? If so, I have an idea on how to fix it but it would be a pain because I structured my game poorly from the start so I just took that as a lesson for how to improve my next game.
Yeah, the restarting music.
It's not a huge deal, but it would be something to think about in future games. :)
I love that you explain all the mechanics at the start, very helpful. I was only able to complete the first 3 levels, the boss was a bit too tough for me. I think increasing the damage of the potion throw but adding a delay so you can't spam it would help. You could also have the potion deal damage in an area to incentivize better targeting.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I was trying to balance the boss difficulty to be hard enough to take more than one try but not impossible. I also wanted the potion to explode only at the place where the mouse cursor is but ran out of time. The throw cooldown is also a good idea, thanks!
