  • This is a near-perfect game in my opinion. Fantastic use of theme, puzzles, and artistic style. I truly love this game... except for the controls. It made navigating the rooms so much more challenging than I feel it should have been. Controller support on this would make it perfect. Otherwise the creativity in this game is immaculate and I would really like to see this as a full game.
  • Puzzles are fun for me to solve, as long as they 'make sense' in what they're trying to convey through the environment and controls. I found that this was done quite well, I was a fan of the art for the character and each room/puzzle you presented. The music was nice to listen to while figuring out how to solve each room as well. I was a fan of how you interpreted the themes; where shadow was used as a means to solve the puzzle from the start, very creative there, and for alchemy, the use of the potion for even harder puzzles you ended up solving were tied together as well. I'd say that my only gripe were the controls, specifically based on the fact that the angle of the game's display usually throws me off at times (I've played games that use this angle, not very good when it comes to it), but this may be just a small nitpick of mine. Overall, I believe you did quite a good job piecing everything together, keep up the good work!

Great job on this!  The shadow mechanic was very well done!  I thought the light potion was a nice addition too, although it felt like it should just be on a cool-down rather than a consumable.  The controls were a little rough, but overall I thought this was fantastic.

Thank you so much for playing and your feedback! We went back and forth when deciding what to do with the potions, since some of the levels we designed only worked well with limited uses, while others worked better with a cooldown system. We ran out of time before we could properly decide what to do, so we decided to leave it as one use because it was the more convenient option, but we will give more thought to it next time for sure!

the keybinds feels off the place, moving with arrows, jump with space a interacting wit Z is very weird for me.

But it was a very good puzzle platform with a very clever use of the shadows. The graphics style are top notch cuteness(the ending cutscene too!)

Overal very good experience, Amazing work!

Hello! Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback! We struggled a bit when deciding the keybinds since this was the first 3D game in isometric perspective that we've done. What would you say would have been a bettter option for the controls?

Without modifying too much the current controls, i personaly would use: Arrows, Z for jump, X to interact and anything in A, S, D & C for the potion. like the RPG maker style, i think they feel more confortable when they are side by side.

Another aproach could be: WASD movement, Space - jump, J & K for interaction and potion.

This would be my pick since not everyone has arows in their keyboards(My case, i have to remap the keys in my keyboard software to play games that need arrows.).

My english is not native, I hope the text is understandable.

Oooh that makes so much sense... We didn't have in mind different keyboard structures. We will for sure have this feedback in mind for our next games. Thank you so much for taking the time to help!

I love the visuals in this, the 3D is great, the 2D drawings in the final cutscene too, and the character design (with a reference to the theme!) :)

The shadow mechanic was great too and fun to play.

It's short but it's extremely polished so that makes sense

This game makes me think 10/10.

Good interpretation of the shadows theme. I am really bad at thinking though.
