- Game was simple in concept and easy to engage with. Love the music and vibe. Creepy carnival like. Fits very much with the theme and game focus. It was easy to put the items in to make potions. The testing mechanic doesn't seem to be working for me. I tried clicking the potion and then the Homunculus and vice versa, but nothing seemed to work. The detail work on his teeth and the drool are an excellent touch. Great theme work on this game! Would love to see how the potions work to see more of your vision play out. Orders did not seem to appear for me as state in the GDD. Your artistic style is clear and executed well.

General idea was to make a mix of potion craft and drink mixing game.
We had ideas to further implement the shadows part of the theme with the story that would evolve with the potion requests that you would receive, but unfortunately there was no time to get to that mechanic.
As of right now, you are able to mix 2 different ingredients and a catalyst(or lack of) to try to create a potion.
If successful you can then test the potion on your homunculus.
Basically it's a sandbox version of the game we would have liked to make.

I like the little Homunculus watching you when you mix.
if you can make the game a bit more clear with a tutorial, it would be nice
For sure for sure, we had some issues outside of development that limited the time we actually had to work on the game during the 2 weeks so a lot of things got cut last minute like the tutorial and some more polishing. For example, you can actually test successful potions on the homunculus, but for some reason the build that got published had an issue with an image that is next to the homunculus and thus is sometimes bugging blocking the player from interacting with the homunculus. From testing myself sometimes making a potion or going to the main menu and back to the game can fix it on this build. And thanks for the feedback!
