  • Pretty fun game! I'm secretly a sucker for matching games like these so this is a lot of fun. Well done on this!

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
To stop the spreading hexagons from hitting the sides of the playing field, players must trade hexagons and link them together by matching colors. As the music increases speed, they have to adapt and start making tough decisions on where to focus their attention. Since linked hexagons aren’t destroyed immediately after linking, players have to think and plan ahead in order to destroy the most tiles. To complete the game they will have to reach a certain score. Connecting more hexagons will reward more points, but stopping the spreading tiles from reaching the borders might eventually become their priority. The key to the game is to destroy as many blocks, long links and multiple links at once being rewarded appropriately, while the ever-growing spread might add upon their linked tiles.

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
yes

this is really satisfying! I like the effects on the hexes, and i found myself getting stressed out trying to manage everything... in a good way :). i would have liked if when I "section" off a chunk it somehow went away. i found myself wanting to create efficient cuts from the main body of hex's, but not having them go away made me feel like it wasn't as smart as I thought it was.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm definitly going to test cutting them off .

I really like the particle effects and visuals. GJ!

Pretty entertaining! Difficult to contain the spread. I might recommend something like keeping things that are about to clear from spreading. But I enjoyed myself regardless :)

Actually thought of this solution before, it just felt a little too artificial a boundary. Now that you had the same idea tho, I'll run some tests with that in place :) thnx for your feedback!!
