  • Game has good art and an interesting concept, but the exponential failure rate cause by the new 1 faces makes the game frustrating at best or irritating at worse as there is no counterplay or overcoming this. The Shop mechanics are problematic as well, as the debuffs are always worse than you can obtain for levelling up, and the items are unclear as to what they actually do. The only reference I can work out in relation to "Its spreading" is the number of "1" faces, but there is no visual tracking or marker evident as to this mechanic. Punishing the player for rolling a 1, which is dictated by RNG, isn't a "punishment", more just slapping the player at random. This mechanic prevented an indepth test due to being trapped in the first 2 "areas" despite multiple attempts. This game feels like it needed testing and feedback as to how it feels to play the game, but has a lot of potential to be fun.
  • Game: Cool concept! GDD: GGD is good to me! Would love to see development timeline.

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
I wanted to go for a DnD / Baldurs Gate feeling Game where you roll the dice to decide an Outcome. I had to cut on alot of content due to the time limit and made it more of a tech demo and might remake the entire thing entirely if i continue working on this game idea

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Extra Notes
I might not be the best Gamedev but i still have fun making them and besides the topic of the gamejam giving me an crisis trying to come up with ideas it went ok. Also it was my first time having to do a design document.

I like the concept, but I think you need to be waaaaay more efficient with how you use the screen. I felt like I was constantly scrolling up and down.

GG I played for about fifteen minutes, made 2 runs, I didn't manage to defeat Thordolf the grey but the concept works well! (just, at one point I made 12 "1" in a row, isn't that fishy? xD

I'd just healed myself after recovering some life steal, if you ever decide to get into bug fixing haha)

In any case, as someone who loves role-playing games, the concept obviously grabbed me ^^.
