Summarize your game!
Your Crockpot Is Looking At Me Funny is a short narrative puzzler about disconnected smart devices and broken hearts. Break into your(?) house by piloting a drone remotely to unlock more and more smart-device-cameras on your phone until you can find the clues to remember your passcode-- and realize why you got kicked out in the first place.
Please explain how your game fits the theme.
All the smart device cameras in your home are constantly watching-- they’re your only hope of getting inside, and the game’s whole goal is to restore more and more of them. But it’s also revealed they’re a part of why your relationship failed and why you’re breaking in to get your stuff out in the first place. All the world watching can be rough on a relationship.
Did you use Generative AI to make any assets in your game?
No
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Read the in-game text messages as you play for the narrative + game hints as well. Don't forget to liberally use the drone reset button (R) if you lose your drone, or the prop reset button (T) if you send a prop to an annoying place.

This game was fun to play. Haven't really seen anything with mechanics like this before but I think it is pretty clever. I couldn't pilot the drone well to save my life but I got on okay thanks to the reset button. Moving the props was a little difficult thanks to my depth perception but I eventually got it. Unfortunately the tab closed in the middle of my game and looking below I see it was the ctrl w issue. Otherwise, clever job and keep going!
This is such a great game. The graphics and models look great. The way the drone flies feels just like a real drone. The creative way you need to activate and manipulate cameras in home electronics just to be able to see what you're doing. It's so cleaver. The storyline is another really well done piece of this game. I really like this game.
A couple issues I ran into with the control scheme. I found I would try and yaw the drone, but I would accidentally hit 'R' and reset the drones position to the beginning which was frustrating, and I tried 2 different browsers, pressing CTRL + W would close the tab I was in, losing my progress in the game. Which would have been useful to be able to use.
A few little tweaks to the controls, but other than that this is an A+ game!
Great idea on moving the drone reset button away on the keyboard from the drone controls, I absolutely hit the reset accidentally myself a few times. Love to hear you enjoyed the gamefeel and the story. Thanks so much for playing!
