This was a really good puzzle game. The difficulty increased in a steady incremental difficulty curve. I took my time and counted out my route on each level. I'm thankful you didn't implement a timer. I would play more levels if you made them. The mechanics work well together, complimenting each other, and they are introduced in an intuitive way. Great game.

Thank you for playing and for your review. It’s great, constructive and kind.
I don’t know if we weren’t clear enough, or if you are unfamiliar with Eurovision. It’s far more than just a club’s worth of viewers. It is a world song contest, 30-40 countries compete every year. If you are not familiar with Eurovision, I recommend looking into it, some of the acts are just completely nuts.
Having said that, I understand it’s our responsibility to be clear with our intentions in our game. I just think you’d get a kick out of Eurovision if you looked into it.
I’m glad you appreciate the difficulty our lead programmer took on by getting a rhythm game to remain in sync with music in a browser, our pixel art and especially that you liked the music.
We had ideas to add more visual indications and juice to successful moves, but time continued to march on regardless of our intentions.
I appreciate that you took the time to get past the difficulty, git gud, and give the game a chance! I love the community you've built.
This is such a great game. The graphics and models look great. The way the drone flies feels just like a real drone. The creative way you need to activate and manipulate cameras in home electronics just to be able to see what you're doing. It's so cleaver. The storyline is another really well done piece of this game. I really like this game.
A couple issues I ran into with the control scheme. I found I would try and yaw the drone, but I would accidentally hit 'R' and reset the drones position to the beginning which was frustrating, and I tried 2 different browsers, pressing CTRL + W would close the tab I was in, losing my progress in the game. Which would have been useful to be able to use.
A few little tweaks to the controls, but other than that this is an A+ game!
I really like the graphics. The sky filled with eyes on TV and one giant eyeball. The music suits the game well. The weapons are a good mix. I ran into a couple bugs. When I would die and start playing another round, I would still have the weapons from my last game. At one point I picked up a cheese and it said "14 cheeses remaining". It looks like variables aren't being reset on death. But overall great game. The aesthetic is perfect.
This is a really fun game. The artwork is beautifully done. It gives me nostalgic vibes of old school games like Act Raiser. I found it difficult to tell if I was doing things correctly or not. I believe, but am unsure, that when the scales fell to the golden side I had selected the correct reapers. I did not have time to play long enough to complete a day, unfortunately.
Congratulations on completing your first game to a game jam. It's awesome you created a game all by yourself. I like the idea, the fate of the world rests with you. the pixel art the portal is really cool. I don't know if I glitched the game or what, but I got through the walls and made it to the exit.
Thanks for trying our game. You adjust the latency on the pause screen [p] or on the fail screen. Changing the latency can make the game easier. The star at the bottom of the screen changes colors to the beat. We had thought about having the camera bounce to the beat, but never got the fine tuning to make it noticeable but not too distracting down before the deadline.
I would argue the "No AI-Generated Content." outlined in the game jam rules is ambiguous. "Content" implies to me the content of the game, and would not include the GDD. I did not see the image shown in the GDD present in the game. As a fellow competitor, I would like this game to be included in the competition with me.
Interesting mechanic. I also like the theme of the night king snuffing all the flames. I found the character walked too slow. I understand the mechanic of the walking using the wick timers, but I think movement still could have been faster. Especially with the timer being only exactly the amount of time needed for the puzzle. No time to figure out the puzzle. I found on the third level the candles were out of range for me. But it's a great concept. I would like to see the game further developed.
