This game was a lot of fun. The mechanics, art, music, and story were fun. Maybe a longer loop on the music? Otherwise. 10/10 encouraged egg.

Atmosphere, music, ui, the puzzles. Perfect. I had a lot of fun playing this game. At some points the shadow or the player vibrates also after getting the ruby I fell before the lift comes down and the lift squished me and my sprite disappears. This game was super enjoyable and I loved playing every moment. The ability to turn the blue light on to reveal secrets is chefs kiss. The storytelling as well. Thank you for sharing your game and I hope y'all continue to make games! Great work.

Omg I enjoyed your game so much! The art, the storytelling, the gameplay. Very much en pointe. I love having to research and formulate the correct drink for each customer and being threatened also helps with the pressure. XD An A plus game that has been made in two weeks. Y'all please keep doing what you're doing.

Beautiful art and music. Easy to understand mechanics. I am poor at platform jumping but I had fun at what portions I could complete.  XD

Okay holy butts. Your sfx is adorable. I just giggled with joy as I was playing. As a person who is terrible at platformers every jump and movement felt right and the abilities felt fun. The art was adorable and ui was easy to understand! I love that you took time to put the nuh uh sound for a wrong input!

Thank you so much for taking time to review and  play our game!

I will add these notes to our list I definitely agree some things could be a bit easier and the music definitely needs work.

Lol thank you so much for playing again!

No you didn't skip anything by accident. There's a day 2 on a different choice. When you sacrifice something you kinda need a day off because choices hurt.

Thank you so much for your time and review! We are definitely  continuing development on this game because it was just such a fun idea to write and execute.

Great job curing the customers you did! Owning and running an apothecary  is a hard job.  Plus they were all weird anyway. Lol.

Thank you so much for your time! I really appreciate your feedback and that you took time to comment. I hope below helps:

If your problem is:

  • What are the right ingredients to solve the problem?
    • In the ailments tab you will cross reference the symptoms mentioned with the the diseases. Press the arrow buttons to flip through. Then you will choose the corresponding ingredients in the ingredient tray below to solve each. if you forget you can go back to the customer tab to reread.
  • It's hard to select the ingredients in the ingredient tray.
    • I'm sorry! The collision boxes on the ingredients in the tray are small so you might have to be a little precise where you click.

We won't be able to push it friday but definitely volume sliders, more room tiles, and browser version of the game! I'm gonna also clean up animations and sprites.

I tried browser and pc but both kept crashing. The main character looks adorable and the level is a nice comfy bread shape.

This game is hard and I love it. I have yet to escape the building but I'm going to definitely keep trying. Having to draw the runes to cast the spell as a mechanic is a really cool concept and add a layer of difficulty that makes me want to keep trying. Sound and music are well done as well as the pixel art. I can easily see myself playing this game for hours trying to get the optimal score on different levels or other people trying to speed run it. Ya'll keep up the good work!

Thank you so much for playing our game and I am happy to hear you enjoyed it! Hopefully we can refine that difficulty further in the future so more than the map will make you panic. Ha ha.

First for us as well. The follow through in participating and finishing feels amazing tbh.

Thank you so much for taking the time to play our game and your critique! Everything you mentioned I will add to our list and we've already started brainstorming!

unfortunately no. we tested and tried to break it as much as possible before submitting  though.

I think my husband and I spent 50+ hours each.

I learned that 2 weeks goes by super fast. That game design documents are e v e r y t h i n g. It helped us stay on scope, plan for the future, and between the document and the rules I learned what I could eliminate to make a minimum viable product. I was able to say what is the most important thing to get done in the game and work from there. This jam has made me excited to try to make future games and also try to wrangle GameMaker myself.
