I think my initial opinion has been colored by the players it has gone up against, but on looking at it again, I think I agree here, and would say that the deck would (assuming a more average power level for player decks) benefit from having the spawned items be Weak instead of Normal.

Disclaimer: I will not focus on Art or grammar, unless the latter would make the deck too difficult to understand.

Okay, this one for some reason didn't appear on the "Submissions in need of rating" list, so nearly missed it.

It's a nice NPC concept for an encounter, though one that might depend a bit on the table and all. Clear gimmick too, and I appreciate the mechanics and consistent aesthetic involved. I'm quite curious on how you picture the mechanics to look like in terms of appearance and animations in-fiction?

I don't actually disagree with Mateoboio's assessment about defenses+burn being quite the combo, though, even if I am probably slightly less worried. It'd definitely have to be tested in practice. That said, {Blocker} Items being plentiful can become really frustrating to deal with as a concept for the reasons mentioned and feeling like no progress is made if dice luck gets bad?

Good job!

I think the idea is very cool. I rated it three for a specific reason though. Thematically, I think it's awesome and probably around a 4-5 since I really like the idea of using and sacrificing items to do stuff because it scratches that part of my brain and I just like seeing it. Mechanically, I feel like it's a bit rough since a lot of the way the deck works is via attacking directly and burn damage with pretty genuinely solid defenses (Since to destroy items in a clash you need to roll a 10+ instead of a 7+) which could be potentially seen as maybe a little oppressive and very easily end duels early which is a bit unfortunate (Though I still think it's cool). It could definitely work as a higher end/harder duel though like if it was a finale with a good amount of advantage tied to it. All in all, cool deck. Good job. :)

Thank you! It's definitely a strong deck. I made the items Normal based on Agnes's encounter in the book, but I could see it feeling more fair if they were weak. Definitely something to test out!
