Overview of Game
You stopped on a dark country road to have a sleep. When you wake, it's raining heavily and you've got a flat battery.

You have left the strict mode active in your game. It’s not a big deal, but is it useful?
I usually leave that on for more robust error checking during development, but you're right, I can turn that off for the released game and reduce the file size. I'll do that if I do a new release.
Game description says “You can get killed, but the game shouldn’t allow you to get into an unwinnable situation.” I seem to be stuck:
V gbbx gur envapbng bss naq qebccrq vg, gura jrag abegu sebz gur unyyjnl whapgvba, fb V’z genccrq va gjb ebbzf. V unnira’g sbhaq nal HI fcrpgnpyrf, fb V pna’g trg gur pbqr. V pna’g yrnir guebhtu gur jvaqbj, orpnhfr V qba’g unir gur envapbng.
Am I missing anything?
The inventory limit is extremely annoying (and is the reason why I dropped an item I now need); if it’s needed for a puzzle, I strongly suggest enabling it only during that puzzle, with some excuse like “you feel too weak to carry much”.
Sorry about that. It looks like you have, indeed, got into an unwinnable situation. That's one that I didn't think of. A worn item does not count towards your inventory limit.
Reasons why - IMO - you might, or might not enjoy this game:
( I DID really enjoy it, but it also took me a while to get into it, so...)
- It's a longer game when compared to what's contemporary.
- You will need to bring a pencil and paper and draw a map.
- It is an adventure game in the literal sense; no psychologically complex story arcs or existentialism here.
The writing is exactly right for this in that it's mostly informative, a bit humorous on the side lines, and never crass.
- Not saying that there aren't plenty interesting puzzles, but there are also some 'staple foods' such as key-hunting and inventory space/item location-management puzzles.
- No tutorial or help page in-game, however the game's itch page has extensive instructions.
TL;DR - Recommended.
