Not too much to say at the moment since as it stands currently it's just the Chapter 4 Peach intermission with a twist added at the end.  Still, I can appreciate the minor dialogue edits here and there, plus based on the concepts talked about this mod on the Paper Mario modding Discord, I look forward to seeing how this evolves in the future.

Plus it was honestly enjoyable to re-live that battle in a more vanilla setting.  Nice change of pace from the fight handing me my behind on a silver platter all the times I had to play it in hard mods like Dark Star.

Edit: What do you know you can embed videos in these comments? Might as well make use of that...

Flour Power! There were some interesting ideas here if there was just a bit more time to finish them out.

I'll be charitable, since this was your first mod and you didn't exactly give yourself much time. Still, this one isn't great.

The core idea as you originally intended it sounds cool, but that's not really what this ended up being. It's really just the Chapter 4 cooking intermission followed by a Bowser fight. However, the mod still demonstrates a light amount of script editing to make the cooking part work on its own, and some asm patches being used to give Mario the partners and badges.

The one modding discipline you've clearly mastered is string editing, but even that doesn't show very well. Once the cooking part is over and the Bowser sequence begins, there's like three edited lines and the rest are all vanilla. Basically nothing in the epilogue is edited.

Overall I'm not a fan, but I hope that now that you don't have to worry about meeting a deadline anymore, you'll take the time to flesh out your original concept and make something awesome!

So this was an interesting Idea.

The idea behind this hack is to make it more of a regular cooking sim using the peach mini -game but make it the core focus and using different recipes and feeding gourmet guy. It wasn't too worked out as he couldn't set up too much and probably needed a little more time but it was a cool idea and he has the base for a really cool hack if he continues it (also tossing in the bowser fight with little skips and cake puns was really cool)

I respect the hustle so it was a good time!
