Welcome the Paper Mario Modding Jam, hosted by the Paper Mario Modding Discord server.

This is a competition to make the best mod of any Paper Mario series game you can in 8 weeks. The mod does not need to be big: focus on quality over quantity. You could add a custom enemy, an awesome boss, a few new maps, or even an epic twist on standard gameplay. Anyone can participate, and it's fine to work in groups!

The theme is Food. 🥫

Your mod cannot contain any swears or NSFW, because it will be streamed on a family friendly channel.

The prizes are as follows:
🏆1st place - $100 USD
🥈2nd place - $60 USD
🥉3rd place - $40 USD

Aside from that, every entry that uses the theme and is stream-safe will qualify for a steam key. The person who ranks highest after 3rd place gets to choose first, then the person after that and so on.

The entries will be voted on by the community, based on Fun, Aesthetics, and Innovation.

You're allowed to use any code or assets written before the jam start date if you want.

It is a requirement of the jam to release the source code of your mod. For Star Rod mods, try to remove any originally-dumped assets and only share patch files.
