OK, so I downloaded your game and gave it a second try. I had a lot of fun playing! This time around I was able to get to the ending and see the jump scare, which scared me at first. ^_^ I was able to make it past the level that was originally glitchy. I also decoded the binary messages: "HE IS HERE" in the game and "HE KILLED ALL OF THEM YOU ARE NEXT" from the game's site. For a game so fun, you really should expand upon the story. However, leaving secret messages is pretty cool too. I reminds me of this game for NES called "StarTropics" in which a secret message was left on a piece of paper that you need to add water to. Cool idea!

I edited my rating after the fix :) Happy to see there's more after the first platform I wasn't able to get du to the bug lol The little bit of rng is nice with the binary and the Morse code. The lens red/blue effect is pretty good too. Not much to do in gameplay but overall there's a game there :) good job !

I FEEL SO DUMB for making you guys play the game this many times..
I played the game and eventually got to a stage where the game appeared to be unfinished. The only horror element I noticed was the screen effect where the background became grainy and had hues of red and blue. This effect was very interesting! It was a decent platformer with good hit detection! It would be good if there were different songs in the game as well as elements of horror. Also, there were small signs indicating some sort of story, but I did not really follow what they were getting at.
Yeah the game was really rushed(made in about 4-7 days)....um did you find the purple door level? Like where did u stop since there is an actual end-jumpscare
Also the story is supposed to be hard to understand..but if you decrypt the messages you will find out some more info..there is supposed to be an actual story but i didn't have time for it..there was even supposed to be a character you could talk to,also there is a morse code scene and more binary in game
Just checked all jumps in the game are possible so i hope you got to the end of the game:)

My bad guys there was a bug on the players side that for me wasn't happening which made the jumping really trash..i owe an apologie to you guys sorry

I was not able to get past the first level. It seems like the jump does not go far enough :(
I couldn't make the first jump :( Is there a double jump or something that I am missing? I will wait to Rate this game for now and will check back
You can do it just try more lmao its supposed to be ez but yes you do unlock double jump later for 1 level only
also for the first jump u just need to jump before the end of the tile while holding A(for left) or D(for right
Later on there is a hader jump where you need to double jump while in air but for the first levels there is no double jump

Great! Can't wait to hear back also just double checked and yeah just make sure to hold A(left) or D(right) once your in the air so you actually move! Also don't expect great horror, the game was rushed because i entered the jam when there was only 10 days left ,and i was on a tight schedule because of school so the finale scare is trash..
I can still not make the jump.. hahah is that the trap??? Nail Hell goes hard by the way just checked it out
