Is there a minimum age for joining like if you are older than 18 you can join or if you are younger then 45 you can join etc.

I've seen kids as young as 8 join jams

I'm totally not 9...
The only jams I've participated in that had an age limit is Global Game Jam. You have to be 18 or older to participate but if you're younger than 18, you have to be accompanied by an adult to participate.
