Description
The game would have a strong sense of exploration and discovery. I went for a ambient cinematic style and I hoped to capture the feeling of suddenly arriving or being transported to the place depicted in the art.
I created this in Ableton using Spitfire Labs instruments, and I really enjoyed the details of the white birds flying so I added the Harmonic Birdsong Violin from the Frozen Strings collection to represent them.
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
I took inspiration from the still image. I tried to capture the cold and icy landscape with a gentle sound instead of something harsher because I felt while the landscape seems somewhat inhospitable the warm tones of the sunlight and the birds gave a feeling of comfort.

This is very appeasing, great track!
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
(just kidding, this had a nice chill vibe to it and also seems very suitable for progressive muscle relaxation. You definitely managed to convey what you were going for, well done!)
I agree with everyone here, this was calming to listen to. You captured a great sound, thank you for your work!
Really great job here! The resulting textures are fantastic, and the openness of the track leaves lots of space to think about the world using the given song's suggested perspective (which I feel is a bit desolate, yet still wonderful). I imagine this to be really appropriate for a game in a setting similar to the given picture.
so cold and wide open!
I liked how calm it was, and I could totally see myself getting imersed in the world with this in the background. Good stuff!
Calm and soothing, nice job!
