The soundtrack is composed for the imaginary game "The World Under", which is an action role-playing game, whereby the protagonist discovered a megacity completely under the ocean. The soundtrack is meant to be for an intro cutscene of the city that ends with a title drop. Started out with a base melody and made variations of it for the rest of the song. Composed using FL Studio.
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
The imaginary game's world setting is based on both the text and picture theme, so the soundtrack is also inspired by it.

Okay... It was kind of mesmerizing. I love this progression with adding/subtracting instruments!
I can clearly see this working as an intro track unveiling the megacity! Nice job!
Solid piece! Functions well as underscore and has some neat layering in it. Digging the delayed introduction of percussion and the simple rhythm line to keep things moving along. Overall choice of instrumentation is good, a lot of different melody and supporting lines spread across a variety of instruments. Fits with the theme well - some of the voicings here do a great job selling the underwater vibe, particularly the mallets I think.
Good job, I think this is solid as a whole. Best of luck!
beautiful cinematic sound
Nice rhythm, but it needs something to break it up and hold the listeners' attention. Neat piece though.
Very chill vibes - I like it! The walking bass gives a nice steady motion, though it would be good to give the melody line a bit more rhythmic variation, make the melody skip rather than just walk along.
I think something you could do to add a lot more character and life into this song is add a lot more syncopation. Everything feels like it falls right on the beat with very few off beats and whatnot. For example, I think some rising notes to the piano hits could be really cool.
Really cool, the grand scheme of this song was actually really intriguing. I think it could've definitely been executed a bit better though.
Thanks for listening! I do agree that the music could have been more fleshed out (e.g. feels like there's still some emptiness in most parts of the music, and the instruments could have been better arranged). Appreciate your honest review.
