Description
A... strange... mixture of somber tones and hopeful adventure.

A three-part progression of themes that would play during a heavy lore reveal to the player.

Part one, the player is not the hero of the world, and they have only been hurting people. The real hero has come to stop them.

Part 2, is when the protagonist vows to fix their mistakes and heal the land that they have intuded upon.

Part 3, the hero tells the protagonist, that while they are forgiven by the hero, the people of the world may not be so forgiving. The path of redemption that they must walk will be difficult.

Made in LMMS.

Message from the artist
First Game Jam.
This song was made in one day of feverish creativity, however, this flow of inspiration stopped after that first day.
After hearing many of the great tracks and stories from the many people that took part in this Jam, I felt both ashamed of my simplistic efforts and yet also felt honored to have been able to take part in this event.

I hope that everyone keeps creating after this jam.

Theme

Inside my world

How does it fit the theme?
The player is wandering inside someone else's world, and meddling in their story without realizing that this world isn't theirs.
However, the true master and creator of this world is willing to share with the interloper.
I want to create a story of redemption and forgiveness, for someone who entered someone else's world without permission, and eventually becomes one of it's greatest guardians.

You've made a magical soundtrack! I especially like the mood change from a slightly sad orchestration to a dynamic chiptune! And then back from the chiptune to the orchestration!

I liked it! A very creative idea!

Thanks)

Day 5 of Rating Submissions with Few Ratings To Hopefully Get Some In Return

Interesting harmonic development throughout the song, subtle changes in mood between more bitter and sweet sounds. Good vibes and the enhanced chiptune feel of the production adds a nostalgic sheen to it.

Good things you got going here! I’d love to see the ideas in this get their own track. Perhaps this is the start of something bigger? You have a good sense of where things belong in the sound, and I think that intuition really helps keep the listener locked in!

This is incredible
And I want more of this
Keep that feverish creativity going my man

Nice track, I love how you built the narrative progression into it. It reminds me of something you might hear in a game by Nitrome, very bouncy and chiptuney. Good work!

I listened to this while doing some level design, and I would definitely say it had it's effect!! This was a nice little listen!

Would definitely recommend adding a little more to the page at some point if you get the time.

Compositionally, pretty good! Maybe a little more time to develop as others have mentioned, but a fun listen all the same. Good use of the motif throughout, also.

I like the atmosphere you created, its too bad we don't have more information about the project though...

Your comment convinced me to finish the submission. Hopefully there's enough to satisfy your curiosity.

I like the 3 act structure of the song but since it's so short they don't get the time to develop as much as they could.
