Description
Game Name: Escape to Haven
DAW: FL Studio
Track List and meaning:
Escape to Haven Theme- Main theme of game
Calm Before the Storm- Village theme before attack
Under Siege- Village being attacked by enemy forces
Flee- Running away from attack
Mysterious Forest- Running away through mysterious forest (I like to imagine giant mushroom trees lol)
Haven- The refugee runaways have finally reached their haven

Theme:

Runaway

How does it fit the theme?
I took a much broader theme of Runaway. The people of this village are running away from their home to a safe place, making them runaways.

Very well constructed themes! I like how you pick them up sequentially in different variations. Thanks for sharing!

Nice snipets of music, I like how you use classical folk instruments.

Tons of fun ideas all baked in. I'd love to hear each one flushed out more, maybe each into a full song to fully appreciate each :)

When the brass kicked in during that first song was really cool and powerful. I like that there are reoccurring  themes/motifs. It really helps sell that it’s a cohesive story instead of just a collection of songs. Very nice work!

I enjoyed the intense songs, the most. For example; Village being attacked and Under Siege! You did a good job of expressing the fear of the village in those two songs! I also enjoyed Haven. It sounds soft and makes you feel safe.  Good job!

Overall, great job! I really liked your use of the main theme motif throughout!
