I love it. It's so deadly.

I once played zombicide and it was really cool but toooooo long.

One question though, the special action is played instead of the regular action right?

Developer(+1)

Yes. Sorry if that's unclear in the rules. It was the final thing I added and I wasn't sure if I would have time, so it might've been slotted in without proper explanation.

We all struggle with that. I guess it's interesting that with a OPR format, in the end it's almost guidelines instead of lawyering rules

Developer(+1)

yeah. There were definitely places I had to cut stuff or simplify the language to fit on one page.

Being so table heavy "find out what you do" on the Horde side makes me feel like this game is a few very small changes away from being a single-player game. Not even saying that's a bad thing; that's a game I'd be happy to play!

Developer

Absolutely! I think I could add a few add-on rules to make the Horde fully AI such as saying Ambush always targets the model nearest to a supply point, or the model with the lowest wound count.

This is really cool! Reminds me a lot of Zombicide, and I could see some really cool interactions if killed Survivors become Horde units, with Archetypes also having a different-yet-similar effect that's applied when the unit is killed and becomes a Horde unit.

Developer(+2)

Yeah, definitely inspired by Zombiecide. The converting dead survivors to Hordes is a cool idea. Though part of the asymmetric idea was that the survivors would have lots of variety, while the zombies were all the same. Maybe I'll work something out though. Thanks for checking it out!
