This is an interesting setup, and has some fairly straightforward mechanics behind it. The setting can be taken a myriad of ways, tho maybe a table to roll on to help define what the 'calamity' is would have helped, it's all a little too open ended for my tastes... otherwise this looks like a fun game for small one offs as a change of pace - well done!
