Very cool idea! What happens after shooting everyone down? Is there a way to restart? It'd be fun if you started a new level, with increasing difficulty. Another idea might be a level without weapons, a sort of 3D Tron. :)
One thing that I'd comment is that movement seems to be limited, at some point you can't turn to one side/up/down anymore. You can then move to the opposite side really quickly, it's a bit weird. I think it'd be better to have unlimited movement (i.e. do loops).
Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I think I stopped before it was technically a 'game'. Setting up some 'levels' would be a big improvement. The movement is annoying, I agree. When I exported it to WebGL from Unity the mouse movement got boxed in somehow. I know what you mean. I think I can fix it.
After shooting a couple of planes down, the rest start following me, so now I'm not sure what to do. I guess they've chosen me as a leader so I will take them to the great and prosperous future :D

aeroplane game seems pretty difficult to do but was really fun!

Ha ha, yes. I think the simple AI I build tends to just follow you after a while. I need to let them break away then re-attack. Good tip
