  • Some crashing bugs, but aesthetically very nice

  • What's good:

    + Nice art and music

+ Cool dynamic shadows with lights that can be switched on and off

+ Objects you can interact with

+ An intro cutscene (sort of)

+ Shaking text hints, although I'd leave that effect for something more important

    What's bad:

    - Pressing E on a switch too many  times will crash the game

    - Movement could be done smoother

    - Music is playing mostly in the right ear

    - Collisions don't seem to always work as intended

    Overall opinion:

Nice job, I like it. This demo has potential to become something more. Could benefit from procedural level generation, maybe. Definitely needs more gameplay mechanics. It's hard to say how relevant to the theme it is, but it's definitely relevant enough.

Final grade: GOOD, BUT NEEDS WORK

I really liked this game. It has a nice style. I did encounter a couple of bugs though:
- The game crashes if you rapidly press E while next to a lever
- Sometimes the lever sound will play and the lever will not change position (but the door opens anyway)
- Sometimes you are unable to move in one direction until you change your position in the other axis a little first
