it is a platformer, but i don't feel like it at all fits the theme.
the idea is that you can tell the puppy to stop jumping so imagine the character said "puppy, no jumping!" wich is the theme
Hmm, I think something might be wrong, or I'm missing something? When I pass the first puppy I can't go anywhere else. There is no new puppy anywhere, so I can't jump up on the high ledge, so I can't continue :O
when you press down your puppy starts going in the right direction so you could use it again .
there is an icon on the top but it is not so readble, sorry...

I think there's something wrong with the dog's physics model. Maybe it's too small, or the sprite is drawn in a place different than the model. I keep falling through it.
