What's the logic behind this decision?

Last year people submitted via the game submission entry form and it was needlessly complicated. I got entries in zips, entries that were private and locked, entries of full games (most not Nokia themed) and entries which were not actually entered. People had to make pages, and in the end as there were no executables nothing could even be rated.

This year, to keep it simple and so I can download the images sequentially and easily while also making them publicly visible in one place, I've made the thread the only submission location.

The dream is to one day make a PHP form which ensures all entries are PNG, 1bit, 96x65 and 1:1 - but as I didn't have time, the forum thread is the second best option.
