How did you use the theme/limitations?
I had researched the scales and chord progressions used in popular Japanese music

Did you take inspiration from another creation?
I guess during the write up of this track gave me a good excuse to revisit some of my favourite animes such as 'Barefoot Gen' and 'Spirited Away', so I may of taken some inspiration from these amazing titles.

Way too chill for an opening song imo. The bridge sections make the song lose all of it's momentum, and it doesn't really build up to anything, feels like a loop, rather than an opening song.

Not gonna lie, this was certainly a learning curb of a submission for me thus making two compositions before I finally had at least some elements down that I thought would work for an anime track. Nonetheless, I appreciate the feedback! ☺️

Excellent!

It sounds like an anime, the contract is fulfilled!

The plucking at 36" is very good, both the sound that blends perfectly with the piano and the melody that catches the ear right away.

I'm not going to repeat what was said about VSTs. So I’ll talk about production: at 24" you put a guitar with a panning on the left, the problem is that there's nothing on the right to compensate and it unbalances the mix. It's fine to put either the same melody at the same frequency with another instrument or to use the same guitar with a different riff.

I'm nitpicking on technical points because I think the rest is great :)

Thank you for your comment and constructive feedback as always Selkione! I never thought of filling out the space for the panned muted guitar but it would've been good for me to experiment for sure!

Glad you like it though 😊

Thank you Cube!

I really liked the little "guitar stutters (idk what else to call them)" at the start of the song. The song felt like an anime opening to a chill anime! I think that the first synth and the flute don't really fit but that might just be the vsts. Nice song!

Thank you for your feedback kettlemug, yeah I'm eager to try out other VSTs as the only vst I've explored outside of fl studio is labs so there's still plenty for me to explore but I'm glad you like it!

This is very good. I really feel the atmosphere of anime (EVEN I DON'T WATCH THEM). But I think that it was possible to slightly increase the volume of the snare, cause it's slightly quiet. Also that something is wrong with the bass and the guitar or am I weird...  Anyway, this is good track!

Thank you for your comment MoonSi, I do need to get my hands on some better guitar VSTs as the standard ones on fl studio are okay and all but they certainly could be better! But thank you so much for your feedback, it helps me massively with my future mixes, glad you like it though ☺️

Wow, this is actually really good! I could feel the Anime in it! I'm actually surprised how much it screams 'Anime', as I was unsure myself what made a song sound like that. Good job!

Thank you for your comment Nick. Not gonna lie, I had struggled a bit writing an anime track thus writing up 2 full tracks before coming up with this one 😅 glad you like it!
