For this being done in one week its insane, the artwork, music, and the story is really good. the Ghost id say was what I found the most interesting. Along with the unexpected twist. Great game

This is so elaborate for just 1 week ! The art and character design is awesome ! the sound too and you even made voice acting !! I like how the story progress and the characters evolve (: Need more time so I can get more endings but overall I like everything about it icluding the minigames!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it!! I hope you manage to find all the endings :)

Wow, I feel like I watched a whole horror movie! I need to invest more time in getting all the endings I I just figured out 2 basic ones. I liked the story, the graphics and the sound. I think it's a very well done game, and impresive for a jam. I just think that it really felt more like a movie and less than a game, which is my only complaint.

Very nice!

Ooh, a nice, classic horror visual novel.

I like the concept of the trapped rooms, and that ghost that seems to have too much fun with his games. Classic!

There's some horror tropes here and there in the story, but I felt it was fine like this: the characters were the more important focus. I found those well written, and uncovering the problems in the group as the scenes go on was interesting.

I liked the minigames with rearranging the words and hangman!

The voice acting was nice in the spots it was present. Some microphone buzzing on Jordan's lines, but for a Jam game it's understandable. It's cool that you manage to voice-act some scenes anyway!

A very enjoyable entry!

The art is really great. The facial expressions are so good, it makes the story so much better. Really appreciated the detail in the background scenes too. Really well done!

Thank you so much

Good work with character art. Voice acting was serviceable, hell i wasn't even expecting voice acting in a jam game. Writing was poor for my taste for the reasons DorkYface mentioned and then some more.

Just finished it! Great job on the art. I liked the minigames. Rearranging the letters and hangman. I wish there were more of those.

At the same time, I wish the puzzles were a bit more involved with the point and click stuff. You just entered a room, and clicked on everything until the next dialogue sequence started.

The characters also just walk into an empty room with weird paint, and just kind of... assume, that there are traps that are going to kill them? It wasn't very clear how or why they couldn't just move. The only supernatural thing the Ghost ever does is lock doors and talk from nowhere... which could just as easily be elaborate microphones and gizmos.

The story also suffers from the fact that there are numerous GLASS windows in the backgrounds of various rooms... and the characters have bricks and scalpels and maces... but instead they ignore those and willingly climb into Iron Maidens and break their own fingers?

Maybe I'm over thinking this :)

PS: The scene where they had to break their own finger made me genuinely uncomfortable. Good job!

Thanks for checking out the game! You know the thought of the windows never crossed our minds

lets just say the windows were indestructible ;)

But thank you for the feedback you've made some good points defiantly use that for the next one.  Glad you liked the art style and minigames
