Forgive the individual thread of this nature, but as I'm late to the table I figured that this would be the best way to let people know I was here.
I am a Musician/Composer looking for any team that can use my abilities!
1. Introduction:
My name is Zak. I am an English guy who is living in Spain - near Barcelona. I worked professionally for Nintendo of Europe translating games from Japanese to English. I worked on the script of games such as Xenoblade and other titles. My main passion, however is music and this is what I would like to contribute.
I have been playing games since the days of the ZX Spectrum (that's before the original NES). Gaming has been a huge part of my life and I've always wanted to get invovled in developement in anyway I can.
While I am looking for paid work, I would also love to contribute to game jams like this, so I can help and keep my skills sharp
2. Skills:
A musician. I can write in a great variety of styles. I am known for my guitaring. I like to provide some 'live' element to music so it's not just electronic loops that everyone can do. I am interested in cinematic and hybrid styles too. But I am not afraid to write a kickass track in the style of Yuuzo Koshiro.
3. Programs/Languages:
My DAW of choice is Reaper. For mixing and mastering I would probably use Izotope. I am happy to learn programming and engines for things that apply to what I need to do.
I am extremely well versed in a variety of real recording techniques as well as advanced VSTs and Kontakt libraries.

6. Other: My main field of expertise is music. But I am an extremely experienced gamer, and enjoy games of all genres. I can bring a lot to the table in terms of game design, scripting and dialogue and more.
