Can't believe that you've managed to create a whole 3D game for the jam! That for sure took some effort.
As for the feedback, my favorite thing about 'The Forklore Project' is how it mixes modern visuals with hastily drawn ms paint art. This contrast works very well for the abstract feel of the game.
I, however, wish there were more different things to interact with. The dialogues with NPCs were rather repetitive. There's also no autosave before fighting, so you have to play from the beginning if you die!
I like how smooth the animations are though, especially that one of the steak man flexing his muscles and taunting me with his huge gigantic fork. Also, the pause menu really surprised me when I saw it for the first time. Good job on this one :D
Thank you for submitting your game to the Ms Paint's Jam!
Btw. my favorite part was when I got the house to float lol. When I decided to record it, the house had already floated away a good distance! Even if a bug, I thought that was really fun! :D (the video framerate isn't very high):
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to want to run through wine (I've heard about UE games not being all that great with wine), but going off of the screenshots it looks absolutely amazing. So much effort was put into it and it looks great!
Thats unfortunate, could you tell me a little bit more about the setup? Maybe I can take some extra steps next time to make it work. I would really like people to be able to play it on whatever platform they're on (except Mac, bcz I don't own a mac, lol)
Really cool game! I like how it's 3D, and yet it still follows the rules of the jam by having poorly-drawn 2D-looking sprites. My only complaint is that the battle controls are a little weird. Also, I love how when you die it sends you to a .jpg of an MS Paint drawing, UI and all.
Thanks! I feel like I spent an unnecessary amount of time on the art, but I'm happy with how it turned out. The .jpg death screen is all my friend T2Smiles. He came up with some great ideas.

Hi I really enjoyed your game!
Super fun to play, and the menus were quite surprising (huh? When did I open paint??)
Thanks! That really means a lot. We worked really hard on it. The menus were all T2Smiles idea. He's the brains of that operation. lol
Cheers to T2Smiles then!

That is indeed a bug. I think the house can explode. I encountered that one. But this is a new one all together. lol Thanks for sharing!
Oh dang! I wanna see the house explode, too! :P

is wine a Linux thing? I can do a Linux build if that's the case just for you :)
Yeah it's a compatibility layer to run windows programs on linux. It's ok, you don't have to make a port just for me lol.
