The game was amazing, the voice acting was sooo good and you nailed the visuals I didn’t end up seeing how the game was relatable to the theme since the game is really hard and I CAN’T GET PAST THE DEMON CATS maybe that is the idea that you trust the cat and die but I also can’t control trusting the cat or not since he will take it anyway overall the game was fun…good job

Developer

It is difficult, I was going to nerf the demon cat fight but forgot haha. Glad you enjoyed it!

As probably the only person on my team that doesn't like cats, it was very entertaining to see cats portrayed as terrible and being allowed to shoot them :P (this is a joke! I would never shoot animals ofc)

Honestly, the voice acting was a fun extra touch and well done and added to the tone of the game. The small game play before finding the right story to shoot the demon cats - was actually a fun change of pace! We have learned a lot from it for our game too! Sadly we couldn't find how it was related to the theme, because you have a couple of lives too when fighting the cats.

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I appreciate the feedback, I agree that changing up the gameplay mid-game creates a lack of consistency with the theme.

We did enjoy it from a creative perspective though! So even if it didnt fully fit with the theme, don't be discouraged because creatively it was super fun!

Wow! The Art and voiceovers! This is very great! Its a nice Story as well and what can I say… I love cats. I also think that the punishment is pretty harsh for a bad decision but it fits the theme!

Loved the audio, the voiceovers were unexpected and fantastic. I was laughing at the zaniness of the story, so funny.

I appreciated that slamming the Z key would speed up the dialogue boxes so replays were quicker!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it! We had a fun time creating the voiceovers

Lots of effort on the art! Wasn't expecting this at all (didn't check screenshots) but really cool! It's always a bit punishing dying through an bad choice in an interactive story game but it makes sense with the theme here.

Thanks for playing! I agree, restarting can be a bit punishing. I was thinking some sort of checkpoint system could help with that.
